I've seen several blurbs about him recently that seem to indicate he's at least back on track. Riding or not, great to see him in a better place than he was the last few years.

It's a pretty distorted photo, so I wouldn't try to infer anything about his bike position. (Check the relative wheel sizes -- it makes his bars look higher than they really are.)

Even if that is older photo, I hope Ullrich is doing well and looking that good now, today.
The position looks fine, pretty normal for him.

What a rider. I always liked liked him a lot, I guess also because of his humanity.

I even would buy RP Ekynox just because of him; he must have been responsible for millions of sales simply because of those iconic photos of him behind them while Phil Liggett yammered away.


Edit: I see he is wearing Northwave shoes in that photo.
When he was racing, was he always on Adidas, or did he use Northwave also even back then?
