I'm in the process of rebuilding an Inglis that I bought in the summer of 2014. This time around, I thought I'd make the switch to hydraulic brakes. And, I've run into a problem that I'm hoping the forum can help me resolve: the cable guides along the top tube were made for cable-actuated brakes (see below pictures).
The only options I can think of are either 1) drilling/filing the guide to allow a hydraulic line to run through the guide, or 2) going with TRP HY/RD calipers. Option 1 doesn't sound ideal to me, as it would be permanent. Option 2 would work, but I have a pair of Sram HRD levers and calipers I'd prefer to use.
Any workarounds or potential solutions would be much appreciated - thanks in advance (build progress picture included because we finally got some sun in the Bay Area)
