Cool, I wonder if they did via Skype or Zoom or something else. It would be tough to sync given different line speeds of their service providers. At the end I clicked on a TED talk link with Eric Whitacre (never heard of him). He did a virtual choir in 2011 with 2,000 singers world wide. The sound editor should have gotten an academy award for that one. 2,000 individual tracks. Wow!
