High likelihood of a twisted/broken ankle doing stuff like that...

uh, helmets are supposed to absorb impact by breaking, no? this doesn't seem like a "real" test of anything, but of course, I'm not for counterfeit goods (or against showmanship to prove a point)

After someone who appears to be a witness in a hearing(?) asks him to do so, the Congressman places a "counterfeit" helmet on the floor in the hearing room and jumps on it. The helmet collapses.

Hmm..bet a Giro would do the same thing..I guess 'congress' has other things to do these days...Not sure how important counterfeit helmets are, in the grand scheme of things'...

I live in DC. Every time I jog around the Capitol Building I chuckle at the dichotomy of such a magnificent building containing so many puffed up clowns. Tis politics, I suppose.

This explains the high level of brain damaged behavior in DC.

It's a place for men without courage, brains and heart. Just like the Wizard of Oz!

I doubt any modern bike helmet would survive that... They are not designed to work that way and would have to have a full hard shell to support his weight. But I bet the floor under the helmet didn't feel much.

Fake POCs on Facebook for under $40...
I can get more details around this, this was actually from a while ago (or at least he did a similar demo a while ago) but something along the lines of secrets stolen from manufacturers (in this case specialized) can lead to dead people because the counterfeit helmet doesn't actually work. I believe he demonstrates how the correct helmet should work. If you have ever jumped on a new helmet, sure they'll crack but they won't flatten out like that one.

Granted, I'm not as big as the guy in the video, but I've done this to an older Atmos, and believe me, it took a lot of jumping to get it to even crack. Even then, it never crumpled. The structure stayed relatively intact.
This is the one i've seen. Similar demo and pitch to...whoever these people are. World Intellectual Property Day. Extremely boring, unless your kid is riding around in a counterfeit helmet.

Something fake on facebook?? Shocked!!!
Despite escalating pressure ahead of the 2020 presidential election, Facebook reaffirmed its freewheeling policy on political ads Thursday, saying it won’t ban them, won’t fact-check them and won’t limit how they can be targeted to specific groups of people.
