As a Blue Jays fan, but more importantly, as a baseball fan, Tony was what made baseball great for me in those years. Always had a smile ear to ear on the field (even though it was turf!) and treated fans well in the city. Oh, and he was pretty darn good at turning a double play. RIP Tony. A great ball player and and a great human.

My second favorite SS of the era, after the Wizard. Had him on a few Strat-o-Matic teams. Too young ...

He made a lot of throws from deep in the hole that were hard to believe.

I remember Bill Madlock taking him out with an inexcusable slide in 1987 that broke his elbow and probably cost the Blue Jays the division that year.
