Ugly jersey contest

Cleaning my closet today and I came across what has to be one of the ugliest cycling jerseys ever produced.

Thought it would be fun for everyone to post up what is their ugliest jersey.

Lest let it go through Sunday night.

Winner will be the proud owner of my submission...this canari rat fink beauty in near pristine condition, size largish.

I wish there was a fun backstory here but instead I think it was on sale. Yes, that means I bought it willingly. To be fair, it was a long time ago and I was just getting back into cycling and not wanting to spend much money.

I bought this ~ 85. Actually wore it quite a bit. Cut the sleeves off years later, when they were too tight in the pits. I can still put it on, but I wouldn't exactly say that it fits.

Always thought it'd be fun to pair the jersey with some faux denim Carrera bibs. That never happened. Guess it still could. :eek:

While I'd never wear the Rat Fink [admit to wearing] I'd sure give it as a gift so that the recipient would have too when riding with me... Well, sometimes.

3 Primal jerseys in the house, youngest is 15 years, two others at least 20.

What is very funny is how we won't ever throw these things away...I don't know quite what it is about Cycling and bikes that makes us like that...I mean, I was looking for some old brake bolt the other day came across a small box of old worn and totally gone brake pads....dozens of them...realized some of them were from mid 80's or so...but of course, put the box right back on the shelf right next to that bag of old smelly bar tape I have been hoarding for decades...
