What model is this here on ebay?

Never seen this paint scheme before.

Pretty pedestrian build for a peg-o too, look at those cheapo tires...

Wonder what the story is behind this one? looks like it has never really been ridden...

Hoods and stem look like they need some work, but a great color of duende!

LOVE that color - but the build does need a bit of help...

Clean frameset. Older Duende as stated earlier. Kept in very good condition - or was refinished. either way, it looks to be well taken of. Most of the build fits the frameset age as well.

Was gonna say, that is a very pretty frame but a terrible build from the TT up

yea, that color is really nice. bet it wasnt ridden much, though one has to wonder about the mishmash build.

Falz fork is from 2012 or later.

Definitely a Duende likely from the mid 2000s with a repaint and falz fork added later. I like the paint on this one and it’s my size, but I would only be a buyer in the sub $2,000 category.

That looks like a repainted Duende with an update to the fork (Falz)

As for the build, the owner looks to be running about 5cm of drop to the hoods. Certainly not faster backwards. His color matchy is pretty good given the panel/tape and the silver black bits. I'm not big on green and band-aid as a color combo but I'm not the beholder.

The fit and matchy matchy is no worse than some of the builds seen on this forum. Not sure I get the disdain....

no disdain, i just find it a bit odd that a frame of this caliber winds up with bargain bin $10 tires, a janky $3 bottle cage and otherwise very low end componentry. pegs are usually dressed up a little nicer.

actually, the more i look at it, the more i like it! everyone knows i heart DT shifters, a few quick component changes and this would be my ideal roadie! too big and too much $ for me, but i like it!

The paint on that bike asks for FULL BLACK build. Everything black from wheels to tape, crankset, cables, brakes. Let the DT shifters in silver and that´s it.

Agreed. Which among other things makes me question whether in fact it's a repaint. I notice it's a Charlotte-area seller and kinda wonder if the frameset didn't somehow "fall off" the loading dock at Gita and then get kitted up a bit haphazardly. (Cool bartape, though, and btw that particular Specialites TA cage is about as good as it got circa 1984, not to mention the status TA cages commanded during the several decades prior to that.)

Please educate me folks: what about this frame - as opposed to the Falz fork - dates it? My Peg's a marvelous Love No. 3 and that's about all I know about Pegs.

Shifter bosses, as opposed to cable stops, on the downtube, primarily...

I will now take this opportunity to post a pic of my long lost Marcelo - I hope she is spinning happy East-Coast miles these days.. *sigh* Seeing this build makes me nostalgic for the Clean of 2017/18 - the early days of throwing classic Campy groups on every 60-ish cm frameset I could get my hands on and riding the heck out of them. When did I get so fancy? All these customs and discs and electro-gizmos I got now might be spoiling me..

One thing I've never been certain about is headbadge vs painted logo. My 2006/7 Duende has the painted logo. Is there a year when headbadge became standard or was an option?

I like (not love) the specific colors but really like the simple panel design.

Falz fork is from 2012 or later.

My 2011 Duende came stock with a Falz (picked up as NOS F+F and confirmed by GITA), but does NOT have the D11 HS which came later.
