look at the list of top posters and you might believe that bbdave is #1. not so fast. under "e-richie" our pal with a fondness for lugs and red posted 4999 times. under "atmo" he's treated us to 2304 and counting. that adds up to 6293. el primo, senor grande, ne plus ultra. as agent mulder once said, the truth is out there.

bbdave, you gonna take this? :D

Climb, is that the new math? Last time I checked, 4999+2304=7303. I'm glad you're not my accountant. :D

I suspect that if you count words instead of post than BBDave may take the lead.

If you only count meaningful words than they both would be ranked a little differently ;)

Who ever his most important and handsome client is will be getting a real shocker in a couple of months.

I went up to e-richies on saturday morning to get fitted for the fillet brazed frame he is making for me. We start shooting the sh_t and I ask, really, how hard is it to braze a frame? He immediately takes me into the workshop, fires up his torch, and quickly brazes the seat tube to the seat lug, all the time slugging down the cheap italian wine I brought. Then, after a long belch, he turns to me and says," Give it a try!" I couldn't believe how easy it was. The only problem was that when I was brazing the front dr. hanger, I really over heated the tube and it started to bulge and form very fine hairline cracks. Atmo was quick to pointout that it really didn't matter since paint would fill in the cracks and the FD clamp would cover most of the bulge. When I was done with the frame he adjusted the alignment with a 2x4 and a ball peen hammer. As far as I could tell, frame building is a piece of cake.

Anyway, whoever this frame is for is going to have a real one of a kind......

I've only got 558...er, 559. I'm off the back!

To rectify this, I'm going to start another "Lance Armstrong has never taken performance enhancing drugs" thread.

So, are having that many posts a good thing or a bad thing? Is the forum the bicycle equivalent of South Parks take on "World of Warcraft?" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Make_Love,_Not_Warcraft)

Old news folks. The "e" / atmo connection count was outed a couple of months ago. Thinking caps everyone...it's not like much ever gets posted around here.

. . . I don't have a four year waiting list for MY posts!

AND, I have an unassailable lead in the "posts including the word 'zebra'" category! :p

Now, to the REALLY important question, to wit: Does atmo weld WITH HIS SHIRT OFF while swilling that cheap Italian wine, like Dario? If he does, then it will at least double his sales to dbrk, uh, I mean to forum members in general . . .

Recently I've gotten into "South Park". When I checked out some episodes way way back, it didn't seem all that funny to me (too much emphasis on gross-out humor). Are the more recent seasons/episodes much more intricate? Similar to Seinfeld, they seem to be juggling multiple plots, tying them together at the end. I really liked the 911 Truth episode and Cartman's time travel.
