looks like the model was made for a few years but now only C3 is available. looks like a competitor to Trek Domane with similar geo but less frame technology. does Cervelo make good stuff these days?

FWIW I tested a C3 as a short term rental before I bought my Domane. Not a lot of variety in riding opportunity but for smoothish somewhat hilly pavement it was a perfectly fine road bike. It had something around 30 for tires so a little extra cushion but still solid road handling. In the end I thought the Trek front end was more forgiving which is what I was looking for and it had a little better tracking for me. I have the rim brake 2018 Domane. Could have been happy with the C3 I'm sure. Sales guys were sure I'd like the C5 more as it was supposed to be lighter and faster handling but it seems the geometry wasthe same so likely just sales talk.

After watching how much work it took Hambini to get a Cervelo BB to function properly I'd think twice.

there are two beauties at Pros Closet at seemingly reasonable prices.

Hi
I finally got time to put my C5 together this year.
It built up a Lot lighter than my normal CX rain winter bike, so much I could not stop riding it.
My pore Light weight hill bike and Aero rode bikes spent way too much time hanging in the garage this fall.
If you get one do your self a favor build it up with a good group and high end wheels it will not disappoint.
