Any difference between Ultegra 6800 and 8000 cassettes?

Found an old Ultegra 6800 cassette lying around, and wonder if it's still compatible with current gen Ultegra 8000/Dura ace 9100 chain and other drive train components. I vaguely remember someone said 8000 cassettes was just rebranded 6800 ones but can't find the source now.
