Looks exactly like a relatively nasty day in April (look how green everything is!) back here in the Northland.

pretty much looks like your typical belgian day...when I lived there I swear we got about maybe 25 sunny days a year....the rest of the time it's like living at the bottom of the sea via cloud cover...prolly a lot like washington state here I would think...seasonal affective disorder had to be invented there...

love the bike choice and it matters not when you go there, the magic is always in the air.

Oh man, the following day was perfect! Totally made up for almost getting hypothermia. Did the local group ride, made all the front splits and then took the town sprint! One guy told me I was “making a good level on de hills” haha I think I belong here. They were lifting my bike before the ride and pretending their arms hurt while laughing. It was all in good fun though and everyone was super friendly as well as smart on the bike.

After the group ride I went to the Kwaremont and Paterberg. It was so cool to ride those hallowed roads.

Even cooler to do it on my MX Leader. Heavy bike, but it’s perfect for those roads, and the airline would have to run it over with the jet to damage it hahaha!
