Any recommendations on carbon paste for use on a Specialised SL6 Pro? Thanks

I recently purchased the Moterex carbon assembly paste. Works great but pricey- no grit to scratch up things.

Tacx, finishline all work just fine. Where you are putting it, inside seat tube, around handlebars under the stem. Who cars about scratches? That is how it works.

This is the closest to answering the OP’s question. Where does it go and how much do you use? Personally, the seatpost and handlebars make sense to me, not sure about the stem. Plenty of people can jump in and clarify though.

I've been using Ritchey Liquid Torque for years. Have never had any issues with slipping, etc. And.....it's extremely inexpensive.

One may, for instance, swap seat posts between frames and the depth of insertion may be less on the next frame, exposing the scratched up portion.

Not an issue with Motorex as it is grit free.

I have used 2.

FSA - works great and leaves little to no scratches as its not very gritty. This is what I use most of the time unless I really need more holding power (most bikes have been fine with this but for some reason on my cielo, the seatpost and tube combo needed something with more grit).

Fiber Grip - Will probably scratch your stuff but tons of grit.

Interesting on motorex, never tried it... maybe after I go through what I have right now but that will probably be a while

Never used the stuff on any of the 8 carbon frames I've owned. Being on light side probably helps. I'd wait until I had a slippage problem before using it.

I have ran carbon dry and it is usually fine but you really don't want it to seize so for that alone, carbon paste is usually a good idea.

I have been using Tacx for years. Bought a tube of it a long time ago, probably won’t run out until well past my death and I pass it along to my son.

Thanks for the advice all. Will try some Motorex when I can find some.
