Fun to read. I may assign this in my research methods for the social sciences class. It highlights the difficulties of using observational data and the creative techniques to try to control for potential confounders.

Interesting, five percent is quite a bit in the world of pro sports. Maybe I should have Nike build my next bike. Or, I could wear a tighter jersey, hide my cables and lose five pounds. :)
