Hi folks -

I'm looking to do a crank swap - I have a 6800 crankset, and due to a crank length change, will be moving to an 8000 set. I'm having trouble finding the crank length/ring combo I want in the 8000 setup.

Can I swamp my 6800 rings to the 8000 set? That was I can narrow my search down to one variable (crank length) instead of two.

I ordered a crankset via JensonUSA.com in the correct length/rings, but it immediately went on backorder. The expected date keeps being pushed back - yesterday was the latest expected receipt date and it was pushed back to 12/27/19. I also ordered an 8000 Stages powermeter in the same length, which kinda locks me into the 8000 setup. I don't want to wait for months on my Jenson order, and it may never show up at all based on my experience with this sort of thing.

Thanks -

Mike

According to this: https://forums.roadbikereview.com/components-wrenching/new-ultegra-8000-compatibility-6800-a-360975.html
The answer is no but it would be great if others can confirm.
