Looking for any real world experience with this bike in particular, but welcome any general feedback about Bombtrack as a whole too.

they're solidly made.

the dropouts are these: https://www.bikefabsupply.com/rear-dropouts/thru-axle-slider-dropouts-12x15mm

they're ugly IRL IMO ATMO IMHO DOPPO BINGO

Geometry is compromised b/c of production requirements. I think they could've made some adjustments to HTA, and offset to really dial it in for smaller sizes.

Ugly and heavy. How does the geo look to you for the Medium size?

I hadn't heard of them until this week, while poking around "riders and rigs" of the Bikepacking site, saw that quite a few riders on the silk road mountain race were using them. (though not sure if they're sponsored or just a bike of choice) some look pretty cool https://bikepacking.com/bikes/2019-silk-road-mountain-race-rigs/

If you notice, most of them are German or Austrian which makes sense since Bombtrack is German.

CoG looks like it's going to be high.

Might be OK with a shorter stem to speed up the steering a lil bit.

Dammit, I thought this was going to be about Rage Against The Machine. Bombtrack is on my Peloton playlist, except I don't have a Peloton.

I have exactly this bike arriving in the next week. I'll chime in when I get it.

Awesome! Please post pics and a quick review once you have it. I can't wait to hear about it.

Also, where did you buy it from?

MyBikeShop.com

I've started buying wheels from them over the past year, and have found them responsive and great for sales. The Arise has taken a little over a month to arrive. They're special order.

Is it cheap, at least?

You can get a Space Horse Disc or Straggler at any bike shop and have more sizes available, better tire clearance, and a lower BB.

What if we don't want more sizes, better tire clearance, or a lower bb? Or the same bike that everyone else has. Or the colorway.

At least it's cheap though.

Good to hear. They're the only shop I've seen this bike for sale at online here in the states, so good to hear positive things about them.
