I just spent a day looking for a SRAM Red 10 speed cassette in an 11-32. I finally found one and bought it on Ebay. Woke up this morning and the seller informs me they made a mistake and it's really an 11spd and will refund my money.

Hmm, now I'm starting to wonder if I'm looking for a beast that doesn't really exist?? Can someone direct me? I'm looking for the lightest I can find and it appears this is far lighter than the Dura-Ace...even the 11spd version. But my entire drive-train is a ten. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they were made, but back then close ratios were the thing particularly on the high end stuff so I don't think there are a ton of them out there. There were force and rival versions a plenty, but those are heavier. If you can't find one NOS in a random shop or on Ebay I think you are out of luck.

XG-1099 ... $$$ tho. I would just get a PG-1070 or XT M771 unless you are that dedicated to counting grams.

You can't get a 1090 in 11-32, but you can get a 1099, which is similar, and should come in around 185g for 11-32.

I have a 1099 that I bought new, and it has about 200 miles on it. In other words near new. $100 and it’s yours. No risk, PayPal me after you get it. You will be very happy with it.
