1.5 inch Steerer

With all of these 44mm head tubes how long to straight 1.5 steerers are the norm?

Why taper, would the stiffness benefits work on both ends?

I was just wondering about this yesterday. It’ll be a boon for stem manufacturers.

The added stiffness isn't needed at the top end, and a bigger bearing would make it heavier.

But if people keep growing, we'll get there!
