Hello Paceline,
I'm curious if anyone else had a similar issue when putting their TA bike on their kickr. Video below shows some I have this email out to Wahoo, but I'm hoping this thread might spur some thoughts I have missed.
2017 Wahoo Kickr with wahoo supplied 142x12mm end caps.
Ultegra R8000 cassette, new Red22 Chain, Tarmac 12x142 rear TA used.
Email to Wahoo:
Previously, my kickr has performed flawlessly while using a quick release specialized allez. I have since sold that bike and replaced it with a new 2019 tarmac pro disc, which uses 12x142 TA. I used the Wahoo supplied end caps for 12x142 and now my free hub is binding when using the stock specialized TA. I have removed the cassette and cleansed and regressed the freehub body/shim. The issue still persists. Drivetrain is new, and spins perfect with a wheel installed. This issue is unique to the bike being on the kickr. Resistance spinning both ways as far as I can tell.
