Every now and then while browsing eBay, a pair of Chinese shoes will come up. So far I've seen the names Santic, Sidebike and Boodun.

Anyone every try them? They "look" decent.

Just curious. Not looking to buy.

They had been around for a while now, honestly the materials do not scare me because looks like they are using the same stuff than everybody, the problem is the sizing and the wide of the shoes... i mean sizing because if are like the clothing sizing chinese makes, then if you use 45 then you have to buy like a 50 :P

After all a cycling shoe can las 6 months or 10 years... and this ones arent the exception to the rule.

They do nice stuff tho...

Buddy of mine is all over the chinesium for everything: shoes, bikes, wheels, etc.

He's got a couple pair of chinesium shoes. Sizing is different across the brands there as they are anywhere else. ...but you can't try before you buy.

One of his pairs of shoes look a lot like Bontragers...

If it won't kill you when it fails apart then you should go for it. Unlike framesets, shoes will not cause you to crash if a strap or two unthreads
