I have had a Serotta Ti Legend with an F2 fork. What is the difference between the F2 fork and say a reynolds or easton fork? I don't like the blue color of my F2 and would like to get a carbon colored fork to replace it. Anyone?

I have been told that the Serotta F-Series of forks are made by Reynolds, and are basically the same as an Ouzo Pro only with different rake options, colored carbon option, etc...

I am not fond of the new Reynolds graphics - I liked the Ouzo Pro when it was a simple small logo on the top outside of the fork tubes. Seems like everything now is plastered with graphics and logos.

Thanks for the response! I know it is 1 and 1/8 steerer. Now how do I figure out the rake of my current fork?

Most likely it's listed on the forks steerer tube...

Really? Is it closest to the bottom of the steerer tube? It looks to be a standard rake, although I am not sure I can tell by looking at it on the bike. Is 43 considered the standard size? Wouldn't I be fine if I went with a rake of 43 on the new fork? There are a couple of cheap ones on e-bay that will work out very well.....

Here goes first attempt at a picture.....Should I get a black fork or just keep it like it is? What do you all think?

Is the small run and custom option what makes them so darn pricey?

By this do you mean that it is a propietary design which only Serotta uses? Isn't it still manufactured by Reynolds?

Soon to be made by Serotta in a Serotta CA plant .

F3 was designed by us. The carbon production was done by Reynolds in Salt Lake City while we produced all the Ti parts in house. Starting next month, we make the whole deal.
F3 is relatively costly because of the Ti bits, the design, the multiple stiffness options and rakes available as well as the US production.

F2 was the F3 predecessor - essentially an Ouzo Pro with a stiffer carbon layup and Ti parts in place of the Ouzo's Al parts.
