I am having a bike built and want to get a pan african color scheme, red, yellow, green or an african american color scheme of red, black and green. Does anyone have an example or know of a gallery that would have some examples like this. It will be going on a Ti frame with carbon rear stays.

Peace and thanks sam

but I've been thinking imitating art might be the best way of looking at colors' coordination with one another.

Look at some African American art books.

Bless the Internet! How 'bout this for a start: http://www.afronova.com/About-Afronova.html

if you're computer literate the serotta virtual paintshop and a trial of photoshop cs from adobe.com does the trick

good luck :)

sounds cool

Bontrager, back when it was still Kieth Bontrager made a "rasta" paint job on a mountain bike and occasionally one will pop up on ebay if you want to get a look at one. Chris king will do up a red/green/gold headset for you as well.

I actually emailed Serotta (I think from the website) when I was in your position and they sent me some pics of bikes that they had done that matched my tastes. It helped my pick colors and scheme.
