Saw this on FB--don't know the shop, but maybe some locals will find deals?
In San Francisco
"As you know I am in the midst of a huge seismic retrofit at American Cyclery I am really being pushed to the limits of what I can endure. They are forcing me to close after December 31st to do a soft story seismic retrofit to our basement, showroom ad workshop. I must remove everything from the shop while this construction happens.
I will be closed for a couple of months, minimum. if I can squirrel away enough $ to pay my bills while my shop is shut down I can probably reopen in March If not, American Cyclery will have to close for good.
In all my years of being in business and dealing with the difficulties of owning a shop, I have never had to endure such difficulties.
Attached, find a poster for my yard sale I will bring every vintage thing I have above ground and let people have at it!
You know I have a ton of stuff from many sources and it all has to be moved somewhere."
Thank you,
B. W.
