What does this screen mean? Basically, I was riding and all my external sensors stopped communicating to my Garmin 530. I was able to save the ride but it would not sync to my iphone (typical). So I turned the Garmin off and then tried to turn it on and it will not turn on. All it shows is this screen. HELP!!!

Oh please, i hope its not broken or we will hear nothing but complaints about how garmin is terrible for years to come

Try to hard reset the device and see if it turns back on.

Yeah, usually a hard reset will get it going again. If not, they'll send you a replacement.

Try holding power button down for 10 seconds. Should send device in a reboot. You wont loose any data settings by doing this.

Worked thank you.

On an interesting note by bluetooth headphones had a were not streaming continuously until my Garmin decided to abort the signals from my external sensors.

The Bay is right there. Why you don't throw it in is beyond me.

Your phone was probably having issues maintain the BT connection between both your earphones and the Garmin. I've always found bluetooth to be a somewhat flaky connection for any combination of devices.

Migrated from Polar about 15 years ago. Love my Garmins. 800, now 830, coupla watches, now Fenix 5.

The stuff just works, across multiple bikes, shoe pods, Zwift (cycling and running), even on my kayak.

Seriously.

Just saying.

lets be honest, wahoo has problems too. All electronic devices have problems.

Also... food for thought because I have problems connecting my phone too sometimes. I think maybe you are connecting your headphones before turning on the device and that might be causing it. Now, don't get me wrong, should not happen but that could be the problem. Usually what I do when stuff is not connected is turn phone on and off (easy to access by pulling down top menu and clicking on phone, the hitting the switch phone off and on) and 8/10 times phone will connect.

Uh, real news. If you're under warranty with a registered device and it's truly bricked, they'll send a replacement.

never had these issues. the worst I had with my Wahoo Bolt was once in a blue moon, say 1/100 times, it would not autosync.

I just got back from a ride, was not connecting to phone. My tricks to force it to do it. (I understand you should not have to do this on a $400 device and I also understand not everyone likes to mess around with stuff to figure out work arounds and why its doing what is doing).

I assume you have an iphone? Check bluetooth, I bet there are 2 garmin 830s on there, 1 will say connected and one will not. Just make sure there are indeed 2 in there and that 1 is connected. When it does not connect to phone I do 2 things. At beginning of ride (or end but easier at beginning so that you don't have to deal with it anymore and use all the features it was meant to have). swipe down on garmin, it will say phone and it will say connecting. Press it, go in there and turn off phone connecting and turn it on, see if it connects. If not I go into garmin connect app on my phone and let it load and then a most of the times this does it, says phone connected.

Look man, its annoying I agree. As far as wahoo goes, plenty of videos on youtube of malfunctioning wahoos. I for example have had very little problems with my garmins, apart from little things like connecting... eventually it will get solved.
