I have this burning desire to remove the loud and obnoxious decals on my SuperSix Evl. I like the stealth look. Has anyone here had any success with a similar job. This is a matte finished carbon, so appears there's no clear coat. I'm thinking maybe using a heat gun and razor blades...?
I'm all ears...TIA.

Do the decals sit on top of the finish? I’ve removed decals like those with a little heat and a wooden scraper made from tongue depressers with the ends cut square. DO NOT USE A RAZOR BLADE OR METAL SCRAPER. That can result in finish damage.

I think heat and a plastic scraper works fine. I sure would not use a razor blade, especially on CF. Once you get one edge started, the rest of it might come off with just a slow steady pull.

Ok, no razors then. Thanks guys.
