Anyone ride there?

Did you stay near by? Where?

I am thinking of doing a long weekend trip this winter.

All of AZ isn't super hot. Much of it is mountainous, Phoenix and Tucson are hot because they're in a valley. It looks like Patagonia is similar to where I live at about 4000 feet. In the winter the nights will be cold with the days in the low 60's. It looks like a nice place with a rail-trail. I looked it up on All-Trails and is shows a moderate MTB route but the review said it's locked up. It looks like a place for a gravel bike.

A great pal of mine lives in the area, cyclist triathlete, eco tour guide, huge birder.
He is often on the road leading nature tours in South and Central America. He adores that slice of AZ. pm me if you want his contact info

Talk to Zander and Heidi from The Cyclist Menu. They run gravel camps in Patagonia AZ and know the area very well. They are running a gravel Spirit World 100 in November there too.
I just spent a week with them in Iceland, and they are the nicest people around.
