Jean-Francois Bernard's 1991 TT helmet

Anyone know what make and model of helmet this is?
Saw it back in the 1991 Tour and it stood out like a sore thumb.

Different shape compared to other TT helmets in the peloton.
Totally different color scheme from the Banesto kit.
The asian looking lettering.

Anyone know the "story" behind it?

I'm not sure who made it, but it seems like he and Emerson Fittapaldi had similar taste.
