It might be a tad challenging to get started. But, just like riding rollers, if you really get a good spin going, you'll probably be fine.

It's only 24" at my house. Golden and the mountains got three feet plus.

All praise telecommuting.

Did you buddy there go romp in the snow after these photos were taken?

Yeah, I put on showshoes and ski gear, and we blazed trail down to the neighborhood park and back.

She came back with a snow skirt that is really hard to get untangled from her wee nethers.

Good thing I have a tile floor. House is covered in wet hairy snowballs. Even more than usual.

Indoor training, some cool tunes, and hot cocoa at my house!

I thought about getting on the rollers. I really should.

This stuff is gonna burn off in no time.

It's gonna take awhile w/highs in the 30s over the next several days. I'm sure it will be gone by the time I get back from FL, though! :D

Just up the hill - Evergreen....

All that's left of the car that doesn't get the garage!

I shoveled an average of over 24" off one side of the drive this morning. Then what? Theres a 24" wall of snow at the street. The average SUV won't go through that. It's still snowing in Highlands Ranch.

Walking in our back gate, take a look at the grill. Then there's me, shoveling the driveway, after the snow slid off the roof. Stupid snow blower decided it didn't want to start!

Too much here in Loveland, I started at 4:00 am and just finished at 2:00 pm. But we did get a snow shoe in, and a hot tub too. Eric

Every bit of 24 inches in my neighborhood. The snow just stopped around 2.00 MT. Anyone care to recommend a snowblower?

At this point... any one you can find! Best might be the neighbor kid and $20!

I've got a Craftsman 9hp dual stage - electric start. Rips through everything - although the gravel driveway is tearing it up a bit.

That sucks!

I spent a couple weeks cursing and swearing trying to fix mine this fall - now glad I did!

Only use it for the major dumps, and this was one of them!

A friend of mine offered the nextdoor neighbors kid $20 to shovel the 40ft of sidewalk in front of her house. The kid laughed and said he didn't need the money, his allowance was adequate. Boulder.

22 inches here.

I'd have done it for $20! Actually, if a neighbor asked,it would be free!

Hey, nothing like getting in some aerobic training with some skate skiing.
North Boulder park has the tracks set if you don't want to go up to Eldora -
Easily 30 inches at Eldora this morning - First time ever, I got the first chair.
That's a Christmas present I would never have hoped for!!

Enjoy it while it lasts.

Nicadog,

How were the crowds at Eldora today? I haven't made it up there yet this year.

I borrowed my neighbor's electric snowblower ( I destroyed my snowshovel on the last dump and had to throw out little pieces and a handle).

It look me about three hours to do my driveway down to about 8", then run a foot wide trench down the sidewalks five houses I could reach, including mine. I feel bad for the little old ladies.

My Jeep Wrangler compacted the rest down. I blasted through a two foot berm at the end of my drive.

Have to P-Tex and wax my snowboard tonight. Going to Winter Park in the morning! I bet Eldora was pretty darn good today! You lucky dog.

Spent 7 hours clearing 2 foot of snow of my 70 X 40 Driveway in Boulder Canyon. Now I am to tired to hit the trainer. The last snow we got was 16 inches and that took 5 hours to clear. I will be getting a snow blower, what should I look for?

well snow shoeing or shovling, makes great x-training. most years we do ride all winter. 2003 was the last year we got enough snow to keep us from riding. Eric

And I got a really good workout yesterday between the shoveling and the skiing/skinning through the neighborhood. It'll be around for a while, but I bet I can get back on the road next week sometime. Until then, skiing is great fun.

Overkill almost everywhere....I love mine. At Utah Olympic Park they have a fleet of them that get seriously abused and left out in all weather conditions and seem to work fine.

I regularily do my neighbors and the street. Don't forget to dig out your nearest fire hydrant!

Enjoy the snow. :)

Lines weren't that bad - mostly did Corona Bowl area.
Others that go there more that I do said the Corona lift was "pretty long".

Maybe 8-10 minutes.

...it took me 26 hours to get home from Houston. I had to fly to Amarillo last night and drive the rest of the way. I tried to do it in one shot but the New Mexico State police turned me back at the border last night.

Just glad to be home in time for Christmas.
