Campagnolo cassette tool and freewheels

Hi all,

I bought a new Campagnolo cassette removal tool and was told that it also worked on freewheels. That would be good to know if true.

Has anybody tried this?

freewheels? Definitely not

It does work on some campy bottom brackets though

Nope, not freewheels but it works on older, square taper cartridge bearing BBs..Record, Chorus, Centaur...

I appreciate the clarification. I was skeptical but thought to ask as I have two classic bikes with freewheels so was curious.
