I have a track bike that I'm setting up as SS, and instead of drilling it, I got an adapter.

However, the way it is set up, it's supposed to sit flush against the bridge - but with currently the brake nut is too long.

Anyone make a sub 10mm one?

I don't have the tools, but I'd imagine I could feasibly just knock about 3mm off the one I have?

You could put a plain nut on that. Or nylon locking nut.

Cool, I think I'll pop down to the LBS and see what they might have that sits flush.

How about just stack a couple washers on the pivot then use the same bolt?
