Canada Post is ridiculous.
Unfortunately FedEx or UPS is probably worse.

Bike flights might work.

Got beaned pretty good shipping most of a used bike from the US to Germany (19% VAT..). Doing so from Canada would be the same, no special considerations there. Shipping was via BikeFlights and everything arrived safely.

Coincidentally, I may be able to facilitate. I'm heading to Toronto on Saturday for two weeks. PM me if you'd like.

Thanks for the help, seems like the price shipping from Canada to USA is very expensive also? I had quite a few frames sent from USA and always paid around $100. I looked at bikeflights and they are around $700 - same as Canada Post.

In the last month I received a frame, in a regular sized bike box, here in USA from Canada. The cost was 99.24, Canada Post Expedited Parcel.

I assume the seller did a good job keeping the box as small as possible. Canada Post (like others) charges based on dimensions and weight. Empty space inside the box = money.
