SOLD!
This is day ONE of my "Nice Bike Sale." I'll be selling quite a few 60cm or larger frames and bikes over the coming days. All prices will include shipping in CONUS.
To answer the first question, I've planned this sale for some time, and a booked tour to the Tour of Flanders and Paris Roubaix this spring has motivated me to move some of these out of the stable. There will be a LOT of low-mileage stuff, which is another reason for the sale. I can only ride and train so much!
Moots Vamoots Disc Road (DR) - 62cm - $2450 shipped in CONUS
This is a 62cm disc brake titanium road bike. It was purchased new in 2015 from Wrench Science, and I am the original owner. It includes a Moots titanium stem (120mm), a Chris King headset, and a Moots titanium seatpost, all with coordinating hardware, in blue. It also includes a pair of King Ti cages and a front derailleur clamp. The fork is a new Enve RD fork, the after-warranty edition.
I had it set-up as 79.8cm from bottom bracket-to-saddle; it will go much highter. It will clear 28mm tires and possibly larger; I have only run 28mm at the largest, though it may well clear 30mm and larger. It requires post-mount brakes, and I will include, at no charge, a pair of nearly-new Ultegra 6800 hydraulic post mounts, taken off the bike, if you desire. It requires a threaded standard (BSA) bottom bracket.
It is configured for Shimano Di2, SRAM Etap, or other electronic builds, only. It does not have braze-ons for cable-shifted groups.
The frame is configured for quick-release wheels.
The decals on the frame and stem seem fine. The decals on the seat-post are peeling a bit at the edges, and are easily removable or replaceable.
The bike has approximately 500 miles on it, perhaps less. I have far too many bikes, and this one has been sitting for far too long.
Oops! I will remove my name decal.
