Hello there, so I posted in the rides section but will mention it here. I would like to put together a Paceline ride for our Pacific Northwest riders. If anyone is interested check out the ride section for details. The ride will be Saturday August 17th 9 or 10 and about 60-80 miles. I am leaving the route open for now until I get some interest but we can do mixed pavement/road ride.

I live in Sequim,WA on the Olympic Penninsula. Our town is about 1 1/2 hour from Bainbridge Isl ferry, or 20 minutes from Port Angeles, and 2 hours from Olympia. We have access to forest service roads and logging roads. One of my favorite go to rides is a version on Leige-Bastigon-Leige which I call Sequim-Quilicene-Sequim. It is about 60-70 miles with 15 miles of forrest service road, then farm roads working our way back to Sequim.
Have a great day.

i saw that posting john, maybe tighten up the geographic area where you intend to hold this ride, the pacific northwest is a pretty big area.

I'll be in Woodinville, WA that day for a wedding, actually. Unfortunately, it is a day-time wedding so I don't think I could ride.

It would be great to meet up, unfortunately I will be in Redmond, Wa. at Marymoor Park for track racing that weekend and it would be a 7 hour drive to reach Sequim for the day. Have fun, maybe next time!

The rumors are true. I heard there was good squirrel hunting here. :)

This sounds super appealing but I'm travelling back east around then. Done a handful of rides in/through the Olympic Peninsula, would love to explore more over there! Lovely quiet part of the world.

Sounds like a lot of fun John. But we bought a new house and are closing the sale of our current one the Monday after this weekend so I will keep my string of nonriding weekends since the end of June sadly intact. I bet an Octoberfest ride out your way would be fun!
