My first set of Voyager Hypers are starting to show their age. They are really nice road tires for a 'cross bike, but I've heard that they are no longer being made. What are some suggestions in the 37c size range for a replacement training/commuting tire that rolls nicely?

GravelKing “slick” comes in a 32 or 38. Nice grip and durability, rolls fast. $32 new at excel (or price matched on BikeTiresDirect)

Does the size hold true? The 37s barely fit in the X-Fire.

GK slicks are fat but short. Most recent production 700cx38 models consistently measure right at 38mm wide and 35mm tall on 19c rims.

Probably best to size down if it could be close.

Another option is the trusty Panaracer T-Serv. That comes in a 35 and should definitely fit.

The Hypers measure 37.3 on 23mm rims at 60psi. That's leaving ~4mm on each side of the tire in the back. Height is not the problem.

Schwalbe Marathon Supreme (the folding version - which is lighter). NB: these are a completely different tyre from the stiff and heavy regular Marathon and Marathon Plus tyres and roll very well - see: https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com/tour-reviews/schwalbe-marathon-supreme-2016

They're quite a similar sort of tyre to the Voyager Hypers - in fact the test linked to above compares them
