Would you guys ride this?...even with dents? No cracks from what I am told.

No
I hope you didn’t pay money for that.

If it were mine and I already had it built-up I probably would.

But I doubt I'd buy it, even at a steep discount, then go through the trouble of assembling it.

That seat stay is badly compromised and also probaby affects the alignment of the hanger.

It's a no from me dawg. Even if someone was giving it to me. Trainer duty, at best.

My guess is that you wouldn't even get the rear wheel is spin without coming to a stop against the chainstay.

Same-same. I would not ride it.

Would I ride it? If it was (or could be) sufficiently aligned for adequate tracking and shifting, I sure would. Metal frames like this don't just suddenly explode. I'd check it for cracks periodically, but if it wasn't cracked, I'd ride it.

Would I pay money for it? Probably not.

What the others have opined.

The force required to make those dents in Ti is huge (especially the seat stay one), I'd expect there to be more issues elsewhere, or cracks you don't see.

I'd send that one back to colorado for a checkup/repair/refinish. That way if it can be fixed it will be fixed right, and it will look brand new too. If it can't then it's wall art.

Hows the frame alignment, put a rear wheel in it and is it centered in both bb and seat tube. If yes, sure show off commuter bike. Pay money, no way.

No go for me too. Can't imagine that rear end is straight. What the heck hit it?

Eh, I wouldn't go that far. A friend had his classique dented on the top tube when his daughter showed her friend (they were maybe 10 years old) how light her dad's bike was, and then her friend lifted it up into his feedback stand several times trying to figure out how to hang it by the saddle... the kid wasn't bludgeoning the bike, but still caused a dime sized dent (admittedly smaller than what we're looking at here)

Absolutely not.

Why take any chance on that kind of deformation?
