Okay, who likes what energy bar? At present I like Clif Bars and Torq Bars. My riding drink of choice is PSP22.
How about you?

When Publix has the two-for-$2.89 sale I buy a bunch of boxes of the Nature Valley trail mix bars. Works about to about 24 cents each and they have lots of carbs (41g per bar), low fat and digest easily (in me, at least). Sometimes I splurge and buy Rice Krispy bars. Or sometimes I steal Power Bars from my daughter the competitive swimmer who won't eat anything else.
I drink water over sports drink because it's free, it doesn't gunk up your bottles and you can spray it down the back of your neck when the weather heats up.

My favorite fuel:
Double Double expresso with a heaping tablespoon or two of sugar in the raw, followed by a large Southern Style sweetened Arizona tea at the first rest stop. Keeps me going right thru the ride!

I usually use Gu and drink lots of water and use Acclerade on longer rides.

Pre-ride meal has to be my trusty bowl of trader joe's muesli (red box) and skim milk/banana.
On rides < 30 miles, just water and maybe a Gu gel. Longer rides I bring a Clif bar or Power bar. And recently I've become hooked on Cytomax- that stuff really works- I am convinced it dulls the lactic acid pain on long climbs.

Pre - 2 cortados & a banana.

During the week:
Clif Bars, bagel sandwiches, waffle sandwiches, sandwiches, pasta, salads, two cups of coffee and lots of water (all of those consumed in amounts of 1500-2000 calories in front of the Doc's students, bewteen the hours of 7:15 and 12:45...what the little buggers don't grasp is that breakfast is at around 4:30, and the Doc works through lunch)
During the ride:
water (water only if the ride is under 2:30). Luna Bars, Clif Bars....
After:
Whatever is around as long as we inhale around 1000 calories, 60% CHO, 20% PRO, 20% FAT
