The South Park shake weight episode is a top ten.
Octalink - Isis would give you a better shot at covering all those FSA cranks. Then f course you have to figure out which side is which. Will it have a creak built in like all the other new BB standards?

How about a modular bottom bracket with replaceable ends. Just lockring an octalink on the driveside and you're flying.
Obligatory - Octalink was / is the best bottom bracket standard ever.

Except for lash..found a lot of pista cranks and most MTB cranks where riders ride with one pedal always forward when jumping and landing..and the really poor, way too complicated design of DA bottom brackets..and the non intercompatibility of XTR and XT and DA, etc...
Octalink was shimano's answer to a bigger spindle with corresponding smaller bearings and it's poor performance directly led to external BBs, of which shimano was the first..
BUT, jump my humble opinion..I 'upgraded' MANY DA octalinks to ultegra BBs.
Only one worse than octalink was isis...
