Has anyone here actually ridden one of the new lemond carbon fiber rigs? If so how'd you like it? whats it compare to?

I've ridden both the 1050 gram frame amd the 950 gram frame. i thought the 1050 was more plush, the 950 closer to a Madone SL. There is an 850 gram frame coming out after Christmas.

I'm not big on carbon so my opinion may not count for much.

you cannot ride 25s as well as many 23s with those frames.

Ditto, the rear brake bridge barely clears the stock 23s, didn't have a caliper
to measure the actual tire size. Not a Classics frame.

Handling was OK, nothing to make you say wow. Rode a 59, heavy variant.

I just looked at the two I have on the floor and they look like there's plenty of room for the stock Bontrager 23c tires, less of course with 25's but not so that you couldn't run them. What brand is not fitting for you?

When I think 25 tires , LeMond carbon is not the first frame that comes to mind.

i remember pro-races not fitting in a 23. the shop back home has been fitting the bikes with vredesteins. i am a couple months out of the loop on this, and it may have been fixed.
