T47 finally got the big promotion:

At 1325g for a CX frame this could be a go-to all around machine - even has fender mounts.

But it looses the sliding rear dropout.
Pass

Yeah, those few years of the swappable dropout are going to be keepers.

Is there a T47 eccentric BB on the market? Seems like PF30 EBB + thru axle rear is the most popular SS combo right now.

The new paint schemes are great, this one is a real winner:

Also, who makes these rainbow + gold ano pedals?

Isn't T47 a threaded bottom bracket? I assume you meant English and Italian thread BBs are dead ... we can debate that separately.

pure irony.

Bontrager

Woah, thanks! (link (https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/equipment/cycling-components/bike-pedals/bontrager-comp-mtb-pedal-set/p/22370/?colorCode=gold_purple))

I need these for my purple bike.

I just got a bike with T47. The BB was already in there, king ceramic, yay. Seems nice and takes all kind of cranks easily which is nice. I like it.

Another bike I have a press BB. I have had very little problems with press BBs, they really have been solid. Funny that I thought was the BB that was creaking but was the TA so I was already bath mouthing BB386 but it was not that. It has been very quite on the OPEN. My only problem with press BBs is if you have internal routing... its just silly. However I do have a screw in BB so should more or less be like a threaded BB (but somehow I know its not going to be and it will probably be a huge PITA to remove).

When is a T47 bottom bracket shell not a T47 bottom bracket shell? When it uses a non-standard width.

The T47 bottom bracket was originally designed as a replacement for a BB30 PF shell, and therefore used a 68mm shell width. While Trek uses the same 47mm thread diameter as T47, they decided to use a non-standard 86mm shell for their new bikes. So, even for T47, it appears there will be multiple bottom bracket standards, requiring multiple different BB cups/bearings.

Not to mention that most brands of cranks require different cups, or at least endcaps: Shimano 24mm, SRAM DUB 29mm, SRAM GXP 24/22mm, BB386/WI/Easton/etc. 30mm, the pictured Praxis M30 30/28mm, etc., but then again, that's the same situation we already had with BSA.
