For those of you considering the purchase of a new Garmin Edge 830 (or anything else that REI sells), they are offering a 10% bonus for members this weekend.

Looks like you get a 10% coupon, good for use only June 7-17.

So, a Garmin 830, selling for $400, could cost you less than $320 net. 10% member dividend, 10% weekend bonus, 5% for REI card bonus.

And they're showing the 830 as an in-stock item.

You do need to be a member to receive these benefits...but membership costs only $20. IIRC, when I joined, a long time ago, membership was free. :)

damn thats a good deal. I got mine from bike tires direct, cost me $345 with shipping and tax but then will get a percentage back in points so will be low $300's. Not in stock though but should ship next week.

Technically, the REI purchase will cost $400 + tax out of pocket, but then you get 10% credit to use, and another 10-15% dividend at the end of the year...

Interestingly, Amazon is showing the 830 as being available on June 17th.

yeah now bike tires direct says available june 16th.... but it does show REI has em, says I can pick it up locally today.

The additional 10% coupon applies for purchases Saturday/Sunday only, online or in store. So, if you buy today, you won't get that bonus...

Agreed. I read the T&Cs carefully, saw nothing about specific product exclusions... REI is positioning this like their annual dividend program, which does not exclude electronics...
