You have to retract your bid and bid again. I believe one of the item you can check for the reason of bid retraction is that you bid the wrong amount. I have mistakenly bid the wrong amount and retracted my bid and had no problem.

under the help guide type in bid retraction, there is a form to put the item number and reason.

Easy way to get there is got to "My Ebay" scroll down to and click on "Related Links" toward the bottom on the left. The first or #1 question is "Can I retract my bid"? It will show you how.

Left out a step. After Related Links click on Buyers Guide.

1. Copy down the auction number.
2. On the home page click on "Sitemap".
3. Click on "Bid Retractions" listed under Buying Resources.
4. Type in the auction number.
5. Chose your reason and click "Retract My Bid".
If the auction has less than 12 hours left, I believe, they won't let you retract. Jeff N.
