Agree, thanks very much for posting!
My first boss when I moved to NH at age 22 was Dr. Robert C. Dean, who lost a leg roughly at the same age as the author of this article, 10 or so, in a farming accident. He rode his bike to work most days, including pedaling up the hill to Hanover after crossing Ledyard bridge from Norwich VT. I was quite amazed...
