My Roubaix specs say fork is 12x100 and rear frame is 12x142. Does mean any other wheelset that quotes those same numbers are without a hassle compatible with my bike? Meaning my current DT axles will fit wheels with the same spec and those will fit on my bike?

Yes...not any 'axle' but those specs..12/100, 12/142. Axles are often frame and fork specific...BUT frame and fork may be 'speced' for DT threading, etc..

Hubs, yes. With an adapter you can use 15x100 front too. Be careful of some odd things like X12, you won't see it often but it's easy to confuse with 12x142.

The axles themselves have a few different threading and exact length standards. Those should have come with the frame/fork. Not too hard to replace if you have to, just need to be exact.

Definitely take note of the thread pitch (tp) of the axles. Other than that, should be good.
