Getting things set-up to build a new front wheel for my gravel bike and was considering going with a ceramic rim up front, since i do 90+ percent of my braking with the front wheel, and it occurred to me that with my Paul Canti brakes, pad choice is not limitless.

thoughts?

Great solution to front brake track wear. I am amazed how many "nice" used road bikes around here have the most brake wear on the rear wheel.

Also, you could use a TRP pad/holder replacement and then swap the pads over to whatever your preferred is. It doesn't keep the same style, but would provide some additional padded freedom.. also depends on the ceramic rim you plan to use, as not all are created equal..
