Have a 650b conversion which required extra long reach brakes. The brakes in question have no QR, and they are caliper. I found this bit on Velo Orange, but have been informed it's only for centerpulls. Anyone like to chime in?

Incomplete link... assume you mean this? https://velo-orange.com/collections/brake-parts/products/dia-compe-cable-stop-with-quick-release Yes, only for center pull brakes. What calipers are you using? Can you use a lever with QR like Campy or are you limited by brifter needs?

Something like Shimano's CB90 inline cable adjuster (with quick release) (https://www.jensonusa.com/Shimano-CB90-In-Line-Brake-Cable-Adjuste-Silver-Single?pt_source=googleads&pt_medium=cpc&pt_campaign=shopping_us&pt_keyword=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjarR2OWe4gIVexitBh0YRA6AEAQYASAB EgLScvD_BwE)is likely what you need. I can't vouch for how much "release" the thing offers however. I assume there are other brands as well.
