We have a building diagnostics issue and I want to have a web cam in two locations that is both web accessible to me, and has a fair bit of storage as well. Any suggestions as to a specific product? Doesn't have to be the cheapest thing on the market!

Come on folks, you had a lot to say about walkie-talkies, someone must be an expert on web cams :-)

I recently got in to their networking products for my home. Thinking about adding some cameras next.

The app/web lets you access remotely.
It's a pro type of installation, maybe something like a Nest camera would be simpler for your use?

Thanks folks, much appreciated- I didn't have the right search terms to find that 2016 thread

another thing you might consider is a game camera, which store the video and then you retrieve it. I'm not sure how many webcams have local storage.

Also, I think some dash cam type products might have a set up for motion activated recording that gets stored, and then you download. Just not sure if the ability to access via the web is something they have.

I have 2 and they work great. Cheap and easy to set up. Very reliable, never had issues with it in the past year and half I’ve owned them. Fast as heck too.

Looking into the Wyze as well....recent reviews of the Wyze on Amazon have some pretty scary instances of the cams recording even when off...Chinese intelligence or someone spying??? Who knows but looking at alternatives.
