Garmin just announced new Edge 530 and 830 computers with some new features.
I currently have an Edge 820, and am considering to upgrade to the 830. The main reason for the upgrade is because the touch screen on my 820 is extremely slow to respond.
I was watching DC Rainmaker's review on the 830 and he mentioned that some 820s had issues with the touch screen because of manufacturing defects. He didn't specifically say what the issues were.
My touchscreen has a delay when selecting items, and trying to swipe left or right. Not very responsive at all like modern day cellphones. It is slow and annoying. So I'm not sure if mine has the issues because of manufacturing defects or are all 820s that slow. Any 820 users out there that can comment on how their screen works? Does it respond fast like current cellphones do? Or is it slow and delayed?
TIA
