Coming up this weekend. Last bit of one day racing before the stage races get underway, and it is a big one.

Throw your picks in this thread, and I'll update the spreadsheet. (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Fgu8KqZywDSZUHhy24YSK6PWTOQXW-Vu5D1_fPmEXCE/edit#gid=0) Competition is still wide open, so you have nothing to lose.

Remember, if you've already picked a rider, you can't pick him again.

Also, Sagan has decided not to ride LBL. So if you were saving him as dry powder for this race, sorry :)

You have not. I have added him as your pick, and I am picking him also.

Though, I have a funny feeling that Tom Dumoulin is going to pull something out. He's clearly targeting the Giro this year, and so I think his form will be good.

Would love to see Tom attack someone, doesn’t seem like his style other than on a big long mountain.

Re: spreadsheet. Hey Matt, it's Il Lombardia....

For LBL, who knows. JA is definitely on a tear, Fulgsang right behind. But how about Valverde or Nibali? PhilGil done? Kwia worth a pic? Probably not.

Dark horse? - as good a chance as any, maybe.

Yeah, just thinking the new finish might benefit him more than others, if he is able to put in an attack -- then hold it.

Indeed Thom, you are right. Thanks for pointing out the typo. I'll put you down for Alaphilippe :)

Kwiatkowski for the win and the spreadsheet please.

Lutsenko and Dumoulin for the minor places.

Mainly because it sounds the weather will be quite bad. If it's very bad GVA and Gilbert to win and place respectively.

I'd like to have picked Dan Martin, but see that he considers himself out of contention.

I'll go with Fuglsang. This should be good.

Alaphilippe in a sprint from a group. He seems to have the most explosive legs.

Not the day for Valverde, so with 103KM he called it a day.

anyone have a live ladie's feed?

There are no images from women's race.

ASO runs LBL (and Fleche) and did not do a livestream for either race. Which I believe is against the UCI rules regarding WWT races but since it's ASO....

any alternative feeds? tiz has been down/blocked for a while starting ~9.00am ET.

all of the feeds posted @ steephill are pay and/or geo restricted.

can anyone ID the Cannondale the lead EF rider is on? I think it's a Supersix EVO, but the tubes are remarkably smaller, diameter wise.

That tiz cycling is a horribly dirty site. My norton is going crazy blocking stuff, pop ups etc.

nice victory by a classy rider! had a serious bit of a ass-pucker moment on the downhill in the last few Ks!

par for the course; actually a bit more exciting than the last few editions

at least the removal of the rise to Ans encourages attacking by 1) make it less likely that the attacker gets brought back and 2) gives people less incentive to save it for the last climb

Seemed that way to me, too. Crap weather maybe a factor in that. But also seemed like there were a lot of end-of-classics tired legs in the peloton.

As seems usual this year, no one even picked a person on the podium. Fuglesang or Alaphilippe were the two I'd have picked, and I flipped a coin and picked wrong.

Got to watch this last night--I think it made for a good race. Looked pretty raw. I was surprised how well Fuglsang stayed away, sideways skid and all.

Matt, I actually picked Fuglsang on Sat. night.

So you did :) Will update the spreadsheet to reflect your prescient prognostication.
