Bora wheels finish

I am curious if Campy bora wheels (no matter what size) have a 3K carbon weave under a glossy coat.

I saw a pair of these on ebay, but no glossy coat and I think they were fake.

I tried searching images, but cannot determine what is real and what is fake. So is the carbon glossy or matte finish?

My Bora Twos are glossy, and the weave looks more like 1k and not 3k.

Yes as far as I know 1st gen and latest have all been glossy. Good eye to question it as I believe the ones you looked at were fake...

yeah the decals looked almost too big, but the guy said they were real. I passed and now am really glad I did! Thanks folks.

Oh it was one of those couple hours left auction. They just didn’t look like the pics I googled. Even some of the fakes looked really close in pics.

Anyway, disappointment adverted.
