I bought some WTB Exposure 34s and they’ve grown to 35mm on my cheap calipers. Normally I wouldn’t care but this is on a mid-reach caliper bike with tight clearance. 33-34mm would be perfect. I put some gravelking slick 32s on there with the hope that they’ll stretch out as well.

Any other 33/34mm tubeless slicks out there? The Challenge, Donnelly and Soma options I’ve found are not tubeless.

Thanks,

Try Specialized Roubaix Pro 2Bliss Ready. They are 30/32 - 32 mm casing with 30 mm tread. These are my new go to for training, commuting, etc. Super durable and still very fast, and cheap at $40. Even comes in tan sidewall.

2nd this. 2 friends of mine and myself included have tried to destroy these tires and failed. The ride quality is probably nothing like a Compass but I don’t notice anything lacking and durability/reliability is top notch. Sometimes you can even find them on a 2 for 1 sale!

I run the Specialized as a winter tire and agree - hard to beat for the price. The Schwalbe G 1 in 30mm might puff out to 33-34 on a wide rim.

Can anyone compare the Spesh Roubaix 30/32 with the GK slick 32? I've got many miles on the latter, never ridden the former. My first impression is that they are pretty similar tires.

I wouldn't count on the GK 32s ballooning out very much, mine are 31.7mm mounted to i23 rims, and have been since the day I mounted them.

One tire that does balloon a lot is the Michelin Jet CX 30. I happily used these as a higher volume mixed terrain tire for many years before the "gravel" category exploded. They aren't marketed as tubeless but set up pretty easy on everything I ever tried them on, save old skool Open Pros, and are around 34mm on an i23 rim. Supple, super fast, intended for grass crits, maybe not a good choice if you have lots of angular rock in your gravel, as the sidewalls cut pretty easily. Probably lots of tires in this size that do this better now, just reminiscing.

They make a 35 and a 32, but the 32 isn’t tubeless (unfortunately).

Bummer... well, I currently ride a Clement Strada tire (Donnelly now) and really like it! I'd give a call to Mike Varley at Black Mountain Cycles and see what he is recommending for his Road frames now... He has a full shop as well as he framesets.

I have 33mm Terreno Drys that'll measure 34 on a narrow rim and 35-36mm on a really wide rim.

The Schwalbe G 1 in 30mm might puff out to 33-34 on a wide rim.

Currently trying this, but I don't think they'll grow that much.

Schwalbe Pro-Ones (28mm) measure out to 30mm on 18.5 internal, so I thought G-Ones (30mm) would do the same.

Brand new, they measure 30mm exact on 18.5 internal and 31mm on 21 internal, but they've remained the same after about 300 miles.

Schwalbe just came out with Pro-Ones in 30mm. If they're anything like the other measurements, then they should grow to 32-33 on a wide rim

I just hit 2500mi on a set on these non-"handmade" Strada Bianca's this weekend. No flats & one and pretty lush ride at 45psi for Challenges lower end bulbus pavement/gravel tires. Measure 34/35 on Belgium + rims.
