As I embark on my second thousand posts, I'm trying to identify the vintage of a Record 11 shift group. Photos of the group here (https://bit.ly/2Ww024r). I'm surprised that my searches, both here and more broadly, haven't answered my questions below, so would appreciate tapping the vast Paceline Campy knowledge base. I'm restricting myself to the 5 arm crank period, which AFAIK is 2008-2014.

What, if anything, changed in this period?
How does one identify the various vintages (assuming things changed)?

Thanks Pals.

That looks like the first record 11 version that came out, 2009? The logos are the give away in this instance.

They call that 2009 11s, then you have 2011-2014 and finally 2015 or Revolution (with Embrace!)

In practical terms, 2009 still has shiny bits and no red. There are some differences in terms of the tactility or clicks. But that's for obsessives or connoisseurs.

This is early model 11 speed. Unfortunately, the shifters and RD are not compatible with 2015 and later models. The newer shifters pull more cable and the RDs work with the greater pull. I've got the older levers operating a newer RD with the help of a small mod to the RD. Grinding the threads down to the root of the thread on the cable clamp bolt will increase the travel enough to work nicely.
